Killjoys season 4 episode 2 preview: The quest to save Johnny

How do you save Johnny, and is there a way to make that happen? This is at the center of Killjoys season 4 episode 2, which should also be a reminder that saving people seems to be one of the central themes this season. There was an element of that in the premiere, but also a reminder that no matter what is going on with Dutch or any other character, this is still going to be the same show you remember and love. That means undercover work, comedy, and of course plenty of action.

The title for Killjoys season 4 episode 2 suggestions that you are going to be in for a good time — after all, we are talking about “Johnny Dangerously.”

On tonight’s episode, we got a good sense as to what landed Johnny in this sort of position; now, it’s a all-hands-on-deck situation to try and make sure that he gets better. After all, signs point to him not being altogether capable of actually helping himself at the moment. This is a serious mission, but we figure that surrounding it will still be the show’s signature brand of weird. Would you really want it any other way? We’re not entirely sure that you would.

One other thing that is actually rather refreshing if you’re watching Killjoys is being able to relax, knowing that there is another season coming on the other side. There aren’t many other opportunities to be able to tune out the ratings and everything else for the sake of the story. Yet, you can do that here. (Unfortunately, season 5 is the final one — there’s a trade-off.)
