The Originals season 5 episode 11 video: Hope’s crisis; Freya, Keelin’s wedding
Yet, is there still room for happiness in the midst of the rubble? That clearly seems to be something that executive producers Julie Plec and Jeffrey Lieber are trying to reinforce, at least in the new video for 5×11 that has been out there via The CW. In this video, the two showrunners describe a little bit of what is happening in terms of all of the different storylines, and why the timing felt right to have Freya and Keelin get married. Hopefully, someone isn’t going to show up in the middle of this and murder everyone, mostly because that does feel in part like the way in which this season has been going.
What is also rather interesting about this video is the remarkable self-awareness from Plec as she recognizes that there are probably going to be many people unhappy with her after what has happened in many episodes as of late. It takes a lot to be able to recognize this (especially ahead of time — it’s not like this video was recorded over the past week), but she’s also been through it with The Vampire Diaries where there were many characters killed off there.
Remember that after tonight’s new episode of The Originals, there are still two more to come. You’re probably going to want to watch each episode from here on out live, largely because the last thing that you’re ever going to want is to miss something big. That could be happening this season at almost any moment.
