Pose episode 8 (finale) spoilers: Speculation on the story, season 2
Unfortunately, at the moment there isn’t a whole lot of information as to what’s coming up next. There isn’t a whole lot of information out there about the future of the series, but we do anticipate for now that the show is going to come to an end that is emotionally but also powerful — we want to say it’ll be a celebration, but that is probably our inner optimistic more so than a realist.
One thing that we do know at the moment is this: The series has already been renewed for another season and with that in mind, there isn’t anything — at least immediately — to worry about here.
So what could we see over the course of the second season? As actor Ryan Jamaal Swain told The Hollywood Reporter recently, he would be more than game to see Madonna stop by for a role moving forward:
“Madonna, you gave us ‘Vogue’ … You gave us that moment … I just want you to bring your butt and be a part of Pose. We love you and we adore you.”
Ultimately, we do think that Madonna would make a great guest star for Pose, though we also don’t think that we’re going to be at a place right now where there is a lot of information as to what’s coming up. This is something that could start to materialize a little bit more over time. If something like this happens, though, how cool would it be if producers were able to keep it under wraps? It would certainly be one of the biggest surprises in recent TV history, something that would blow the minds of so many people all over the world.
