Want to know what’s coming on Poldark season 4 episode 7? Let’s just say that we’re gearing up for the duel of the season. (Warning: There are some spoilers ahead!) We’ve known that things were going to come to a head eventually between Ross and this new character, but over the course of this episode, we’re going to see these characters battle. There’s going to be a legitimate reason for it, and by the end of this episode, we also imagine that there is going to be a wide array of chaotic situations. After all, we are seeing the characters shift over to London and with that, there are going to be some unexpected surprises.

Below, the Poldark season 4 episode 7 synopsis offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

The Poldarks, Enyses and Warleggans enjoy London’s distractions. George dotes on Elizabeth, delighting at the prospect of an heir, and announcing plans to host a charity ball.

Demelza’s attempts to divert Adderley’s attentions only manage to encourage him. Ross’s fury at this boils over in Westminster, and, having been manhandled, Adderley challenges Ross to a duel which Ross accepts.

Meanwhile Geoffrey Charles inadvertently rocks Elizabeth and George’s new-found marital harmony.

While we don’t want to think about it, the reality remains that we are near the end of season 4. With that, we imagine that things are going to be escalating and building quickly. The finale could contain many a pivotal moment, and beyond that set up a season 5. We’re anticipating that to be the final season, though we’ve also certainly learned over time to never say never.

Before the finale airs, we just hope that there is some element of happiness for many of these characters. After all, they certainly deserve it after much of what they’ve been through. This has been a painful season for so many people, with of course Drake and Morwenna being especially high up on that list.
