SWAT season 2: Shemar Moore, David Lim give fans surprise greeting
In the video below via actor David Lim, you can get a good sense of what we’re talking about as he, Shemar Moore, and many other cast members decided to surprise a number of people who were on a standard tour of the lot. There are some people who are genuinely excited, while a number of others are taking pictures. It’s a fun little moment! It’s something that you don’t really see all that much of, mostly because of how busy most of these actors are on set. They have a ton of work to cram into a very short period of time, and with a show like SWAT you’re also having to balance out filming on location with doing things in some of your interior sets.
We know already that there has been some very ambitious stuff filmed for SWAT season 2 — including a sequence at the very top of a Los Angeles skyscraper! This is a show that takes big risks and, in the end, we really don’t think that this is going to change all that much. The first season of any show is, in so many different ways, a trial run. It gives you a chance in order to see more of what works and what didn’t. Now, season 2 should be an opportunity to dive more into these characters and understand more of what makes them tick. While the series itself is pretty serious, moments like these definitely do help to leave a pretty-big smile on our face.
SWAT season 2 is going to premiere this fall on CBS, where it will be in a timeslot Thursday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. Once there is a little bit more news to report on the subject, we’ll have it for you here.
