Lucifer season 4: How to celebrate Netflix pickup all weekend long
Ultimately, we have a feeling that many fans out there are going to continue the celebration from now until whenever the show returns to the air — more than likely in 2019.
So what can you do this weekend in order to take part in the celebration? It’s pretty simple: Use the hashtag #Luciversary on either Saturday or Sunday. It’s a chance to relive some of those memories, discuss favorite episodes, or just have a good time in general. There is, after all, so much good stuff to celebrate right now. For starters, these episodes are currently being written behind the scenes, and filming is going to kick off later this summer. After that, they’ll all be rounded up and prepared so that when the season premieres on Netflix, they can be binge-watched to your heart’s content.
Probably the most remarkable thing to us regarding the Netflix pickup is just how much of a rarity it really is. Think about things this way: The last time that the service actually saved a show canceled elsewhere was years ago. For all of the talk about Netflix being the sort of place that saves shows on a fairly regular basis, it’s actually not something that happens all that often. It shows that there was something special about Lucifer, and that there is something Netflix saw in the show that made them realize that they needed to have it.
