The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 premiere date hopes on Hulu
The simple answer on this particular subject is yes. After all, The Handmaid’s Talent was renewed for a season 3 a good while ago and there was never really any doubt when it comes to the show’s long-term future. Why would there be? We’re talking about a series with a devoted audience, for starters, and beyond that, one that has more critical acclaim than any other one on TV. It’s the favorite to win a number of different Emmys — while that, do you think that Hulu would ever abandon this show so long as there is still some story to tell?
Well, with that let’s start to look more towards the long-term future of the series. Season 2 premiered in the late spring, and when you consider the timing of the renewal, it’s fair to assume that the third season is going to premiere either in the late spring or early summer. We don’t foresee this being the sort of thing that Hulu is really going to want to change, largely because of the fact that this is an anchor for their service. They don’t want to delay new seasons any longer than they have to … but they also don’t want to have to rush things along, either.
Ultimately, we imagine that we’re going to have more news on The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 when we get around to the new year, largely because there’s no reason for Hulu to announce anything until then. For now, the company can sit back, relax, and take in some of the critical praise and awards they receive. They’ve got a long time until they really start worrying about whatever the premiere date for the next season is going to be. For now, just know that there’s nothing to worry about and will not be anything for some time.
