Code Black season 4 still possible (somewhere) … for now
As of right now, the good news is that there’s still, technically, a chance. This is what executive producer Michael Seitzman confirmed in a new post on Twitter talking about the series’ future. With that being said, he did make it clear that it is a “slim” chance, so we’re not exactly banking on it, either.
What we’re just left to wonder is this: Why wouldn’t CBS just reverse their decision and keep this as one of the most reliable summer shows on their roster? Why not just keep airing something when you know that it’s going to produce some pretty-good ratings for you? We’ve also floated some other ideas in the past, including Code Black heading over to ABC, which makes sense given that it is an ABC Studios show.
Ultimately, though, it’s really hard to gauge potential future homes for the series just because there’s been so little conversation about where it could land in the public forum. With that in mind, we’re just going to keep watching the series and we’ll see if some miracle happens down the line. Supporting it is really the only chance the show has.
