The 100 season 5 episode 11 spoilers: ‘The Dark Year’ story is coming

The 100 season 5 episode 11

Want to know what happened in the bunker? Well, The 100 season 5 episode 11 is finally going to tackle that. The title for this installment is “The Dark Year,” and that in itself should be a fairly major clue as to the sort of story that is coming up.

Below, The 100 season 5 episode 11 synopsis offers up a little bit more in the way of information (via SpoilerTV):

TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS — As Clarke (Eliza Taylor) races to save Abby (Paige Turco), she learns more about the trials and tribulations Wonkru faced in the bunker, and the impossible decisions they were forced to make in the dark year. Bob Morley, Henry Ian Cusick, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Alex Kalymnios directed the episode written by Heidi Cole McAdams (#511). Original airdate 7/24/2018.

One of the things that we personally appreciate the most about this particular episode is that it’s going to give us an interesting mechanism in which to learn about the dark year. We’ll see it in par through Clarke’s eyes, and learn about things much as she is starting to learn about them, as well. There is something rather interesting about setting up the story in this particular way and we certainly hope that it does manage to deliver on our expectations.

We do also know that there is one bit of criticism out there about this episode in advance, and that is why in the world the writers decided to wait so long before giving us this episode in the first place? Why weren’t we given this early? It’s certainly something to wonder about, especially since there may have been opportunities to discuss this beforehand. We are still excited to see it, though we wish we had a few more opportunities beyond just the two that are on the other side.
