Nashville season 6 episode 14: ‘For the Sake of the Song’

What’s coming up on Nashville season 6 episode 14? At the moment, the folks over at AMC are not giving that much away. Yet, we do now know the title for this episode “For the Sake of the Song.”

At the heart of this episode title is, of course, a rather simple question: How far are some of these characters willing to go in order to become successful? Can you put everything the side for the sake of music? This is an episode that has a chance to explore determination, but also the commitment that some of these characters have to their craft. It feels like a pretty important episode and story to tell at this point in the run.

Also, it’s certainly possible that this is an episode that puts the music even more in the spotlight than ever before. That is certainly something that we want to see a whole lot more, especially for characters like Juliette who have been away from it for so long. In general, we just want to see this episode find a way in which to combine some country music with epic storytelling and fascinating, emotional moments.

In the end, we recognize that we are staring the end of this series square in the face. There are only a few installments left and with that, we’re going to be advancing even closer to some closure … whatever that ends up looking like. We just hope that there are some opportunities to see that play out in some rather interesting ways. We just know that there are so many more stories that are due to play out and we don’t have a lot of time to get resolution.
