Cloak & Dagger episode 6 video: Tandy offers Tyrone advice
To be specific, Tandy is doing her best here in order to offer Tyrone some advice in order to undercover as a potential drug dealer. It’s a way in which to get more information for the larger cause. Given that false identities and going undercover is something that Tandy knows a little bit more about, it makes some sense for Tandy to be a resource for him here — especially since Tandy is planning her own undercover mission.
If you recall on this past episode, Tandy had a chance to learn that the daughter of Ivan Hess, a man who worked with her father on the infamous Roxxon project gone awry, is with the company working as a young environmental scientist. Tandy wants to get closer to her and understand her better — she’s viewing her as a mark, but we almost feel like there’s going to be an emotional element of torture to this episode as Tandy starts to ponder over what could have been. Ivan’s daughter had a wide array of different opportunities with Roxxon, whereas Tandy found herself more or less cast aside and forgotten. It’s a rather-depressing fate but this is a testament to how just a few different things can completely alter the course of your entire life.
This sneak peek does give you a better sense of how Tandy and Tyrone are looking ahead when it comes to their powers. They are each looking at them and interpreting them differently than they have previously, and they may be able to each use them in order to find some sort of way to heal what is missing; or, to eventually use them for a larger cause.
