Outlander season 4: Richard Rankin wraps filming
In a new post on Twitter, you can see Rankin’s message as he says goodbye to the series for the remainder of the year. Richard of course plays Roger MacKenzie, one of our personal favorite characters on the entire series due to his bookishness, his sense of humor, and also passion for history and research. Personally, he’s one of the most relatable characters on the entire series.
If you love Rankin (and you really should — check out The Last Kingdom or The Crimson Field for more from him), you’re going to love Outlander season 4. All signs at the moment suggest that we’re gearing up for the biggest season featuring the character to date. Without giving too much away within this article this is going to be an epic season for Roger, one that tests both him and the relationships that he holds dear. By the end of the season, he’ll have gone through an experience that could drastically change him as a man. That’s exciting moving into the fifth season, which will start filming early next season. Hopefully, there are even more exciting things to come for Rankin in the years to come! (To date, Outlander is renewed through a season 6.)
Remember, Outlander season 4 is going to start airing on Starz this November, and we imagine over the course of the next few days we’re going to have some more updates on other cast members wrapping up production for the time being.
