Take Two video: Rachel Bilson, Eddie Cibrian talk new ABC show
The video below features none other than Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian discussing what it’s like to work together on the show, some of the fun that comes out of the show’s premise of second chances, and also Cibrian’s obsession with Altoids on set. Who knew the guy liked these little mints so much? The two also play a Newlywed Game of sorts with Michael Strahan where they answer a few questions about each other.
While this is not the most revealing Take Two related video in the world, it really doesn’t need to be given that the main idea here is to get more viewers aware that the show is on and it’s nice to see that ABC is trying when it comes to their marketing. If this gets another few thousand people checking out the show, that’s a positive — especially of those few thousand all recommend it to a friend. Grassroots marketing does still work! We just want to see some improvement here in the ratings over time, especially since Take Two really does feel like a series that could perform so much better than it has to date, especially since it is provided that perfect sort of escapism entertainment for people who are eager to get a break from the rest of the world these days — and we certainly know that there are many of these said people out there. This show is funny, and to go along with that there’s a nice sense of mystery about it. It’s a throwback to shows like Bones and Castle, which Take Two shares some executive producers with in Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe.
