Claws season 2 episode 5 preview: Uncle Daddy’s revenge

Claws season 2 episode 5 is airing on TNT next weekend and going into it, there seems to be one other important question worth wondering: Is Desna starting to get a little too comfortable with the current arrangement? Zlata is now the person running things and we understand, in theory, why Desna would be inclined to get along with her. She’s a smart, super-savvy person who knows how to get people to do what she wants. There’s a reason why she has some of the success that she does — and also some of the people working under her.

Yet, there’s also a major reason why she is dangerous and should be watched out for. There are forces bubbling underneath the surface right now that are going to come to a head soon enough.

Below, the Claws season 2 episode 5 synopsis offers up some additional news regarding what’s coming up:

Desna (Niecy Nash) continues to grow closer to Zlata (Franka Potente), despite the crew’s increasing concern – as her relationship with Dr. Ruval (Jimmy Jean-Louis) intensifies. Meanwhile, Dean (Harold Perrineau) gets an opportunity to showcase his talents and Uncle Daddy (Dean Norris) gets his mojo back.

When it comes at least to what’s going on with Uncle Daddy, the promo below gives you a reasonable opportunity to see some of what’s coming up. There’s going to be a lot of conflict that spawns throughout the episode and Uncle Daddy getting a little more of a presence could be one of the best things for this story, and the season at large to go along with it.

Following tonight’s episode, which included some of the most personal and interesting stuff we’ve seen to date for Quiet Ann, it does feel as though we’re charting towards a really good remainder of the season as a whole.
