When did The Good Doctor season 2 start filming?

Good Doctor episode 2 ratings

We’ve opened up a good bit as of late on the subject of The Good Doctor season 2, most notable when it comes to the recent table read that happened.

Now, we figured we’d up the ante and talk about filming. After all, it’s already underway! In a new post on Instagram, series regular Fiona Gubelmann (Morgan Reznick) offered up a brief tease as to what life is like preparing for work as her character. Everyone’s outfits are well organized and ready to go for every single day — given that this is a medical show, the costumes are not necessarily as elaborate or as intricate as you’re going to see elsewhere. Yet, they also do need to be authentic and also very much on-point. Filming first kicked off in late June, and it will go on for many months.

As for what we expect to see over the course of the second season, there’s probably going to be a combination of moments out on location in the Vancouver area as well as many within the confines of the series’ pre-built sets. Given that this is a hospital drama, it of course makes a certain degree of sense that the actors would spend a lot of time within those walls. (We’re sure that there are some new parts of the hospital that we’ll see this season that we have not seen in the past.) With there being a number of promotions to the main cast this season, that does offer up some opportunities to get to know everyone better.

Remember that The Good Doctor season is going to premiering on ABC a little bit later this fall. Once there is some more news on this subject, we’ll have them for you here.
