The Good Doctor season 2 notes: More behind-the-scenes goodness

Good Doctor episode 2 ratings
The Good Doctor
season 2 has wasted no time getting things kicked off — pre-production has been in the works for some time and this past week, the cast officially started to reassemble in Vancouver for production to officially kick off!

While we have not seen any official glimpses as of yet of any characters in costume, or major teases as to what’s coming in terms of the story, there are a couple new tidbits that we’ve got within this piece that are worth celebrating.

1. This new behind-the-scenes tease from Daniel Dae Kim – You may have seen a photo already of the first table read of the season, but how about something featuring the cast members proclaiming that work is underway! This is worth a smile, and it’s also a reminder of how fantastic Kim is at promoting this show behind the scenes. He’s an executive producer on the project, and because of his interest in the original Korean version, he’s one of the main reasons why we have a series in America to begin with. We’re probably going to keep pushing for him to have an on-screen presence on the series, but even if that never happens, it’s still nice to see that he remains so involved.

2. Richard Schiff tees up season 2 – We don’t think that the video below featuring the actor is altogether spoilery at all, but it is still fun to watch as he does his part in order to generate a little bit more interest into whether or not Dr. Glassman survives. We do remain optimistic that he will find a way to recover from his cancer surgery, but we wouldn’t be surprised if, at least in the early going, he does not have all that much of a presence while at the St. Bonaventure Hospital. Nonetheless, we do anticipate some sort of return in due time.
