Succession episode 6 preview: Preparing for a board vote

Succession season 1

What’s coming up on Succession episode 6? This installment is coming your way on HBO next week, and at the center of this one is going to be serious boardroom drama. One of the appeals of this show is going within some of these corporate offices and showing how some of the politics play out, and you’re going to see this coming via Logan and Roman. There’s going to be a real quest to secure as many different votes as possible.

What we of course wonder in the media of this is rather simple: How hard does one need to work in order to ensure that you get the votes that you want? Not only that, but what do you have to give up in return? There is a negotiation that often comes with these sort of things since everybody’s got an agenda.

Below, the Succession episode 6 synopsis offers up a little bit more information when it comes to some of what lies ahead:

With the vote of no confidence against Logan imminent, Roman tries to sway a neutral board member, while Kendall frantically shores up his “yea” votes. Meanwhile, Logan arrives in Washington to meet with the president, but worries he’s been snubbed following a last-minute cancellation; after successfully thwarting a potential scandal, Tom introduces Greg to fine dining; and Shiv explores her options in D.C.

The latest ratings

How is season 1 faring in the numbers at the moment? The most-recent episode on June 24 drew in total around 540,000 viewers. That’s not the lowest rating of the season, but it’s fairly close to it, as well. Given that the show has already been renewed for a second season there’s not too big of a reason to worry, but the series’ future is still something that should be on your mind.
