Shades of Blue season 3 episode 4 preview: Harlee’s target

Shades of Blue season 3 episode 4 is airing on NBC in one week’s time and judging from the first details that are out there, Harlee Santos is, once more, going to find herself in a precarious position. She does have a new target that she is going to be seeking out within the intelligence unit, but that doesn’t mean that all of her demons are now in the past. Stahl is going to become more and more of a stress and, beyond that, it’s certainly pretty clear that Wozniak is finding any peace. While he thought that there would be some sort of healing that came with Quince being taken out of the world, we do think it’s starting to become fairly clear that this is not the case. Instead, there are only more ghosts haunting him and specters that he is going to have to deal with.

Below, the Shades of Blue season 3 episode 4 synopsis offers up some more news and information when it comes to the NBC series:

Harlee focuses her sights on taking down the intelligence unit. Stahl’s continued obsession brings him closer to New York. Wozniak uses Wallace as Espada struggles with keeping secrets from Tufo.

One of the things that we’ve started to see already with Shades of Blue season 3 is the idea of reality versus illusion — how major of a threat is Stahl at the moment and, beyond that, is this the most important thing that Harlee has to worry about? We’re not sure about that.

In the end, the thing that is the most on our mind is what we saw in the flash-forward at the start of the season with Harlee in court. We know that sooner or later, that’s an important part of this story we are primed to revisit.
