Moving into NCIS: Los Angeles season 10, what could be coming up for Callen? That’s what we want to figure out here!
Of course, we must kick off this article with a reminder that technically, the fate of Chris O’Donnell’s character is still very much up in the air. The producers haven’t confirmed anything when it comes to the end result of the cliffhanger, but we’re just going to assume that he makes it through because A) we want it and B) there hasn’t been any discussion otherwise to date.
So, providing he survives, what could be coming up next for him? We’ve got a few different suggestions enclosed below.
1. Callen looking more towards his future – Are there any other things in his life that he wants to pursue? We frame it in this way because at this point, so many matters related to his past have finally started to be resolved? We’re at a point now where he has a greater sense of peace and with that, the next order of business is to determine what the rest of his life could be like.
2. Some sort of update on the Anna situation – We know that he went in front to the ATF in order to explain what happened near the end of this past season with Sokolov, but it was not determined precisely what her future will be. That is valuable when it comes to the future of these characters — no matter how much we end up seeing Anna, she is still an important part of his life. We do want to see her remain a part of the series’ overall orbit.
3. Of course, more undercover work with Sam – This is the foundation of the show, and we know that for many, there’s just something comforting that comes out of watching Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J work together in the field. For as long as the series lasts, we absolutely do not want to see that change.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 is going to air on CBS Sunday nights this fall. Stay tuned for some additional news and insight!
