Instinct finale

The Instinct finale is airing on CBS come Sunday night and while there are many things you should keep your eyes peeled for, Dylan and Andy’s subplot is the part that could be the most heartwarming — depending, of course, on how their plan to adopt works out. The two made this decision at the end of this past episode and now, they are doing whatever they can in an effort to push forward. That means even setting a new meeting that brings them closer to their end goal.

In the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s new episode, you can see Andy telling Dylan the great news — yet, at the same time, it’s pretty clear that Dylan doesn’t have a whole lot of time to prepare for it. Not too long after being handed this information, he also finds out that one of Joan’s colleagues has been found dead. In between this and almost killed earlier this season, has anyone had it worse than Joan? It’s really hard to imagine so.

This episode is hopefully going to serve as a great way to tie together a number of loose ends from this season, while also giving us a good case. We’re also hoping along the way that there is going to be a good cliffhanger set up that will set the stage for a season 2, which is going to premiere potentially during the 2018-19 TV season. (Personally, we wouldn’t mind it becoming a full-fledged summer show alongside Elementary, largely because it feels like there are some needs in the summer that need to be fulfilled.)

Also, we need more insight on Lizzie and Julian! This is not the pairing we anticipated a few episodes back, but we’re absolutely here for it.
