Take Two episode 4 spoilers: Sam’s ex Dylan turns up — but why?

When Take Two episode 4 entitled “Ex’s and Oh’s” airs on ABC come July 12, there are a few different things that you can be excited to see. For starters, how about getting a chance to learn more about Sam Swift’s former fiance? This is a guy who dumped her in front of the entire nation, and that is one of the things that led to her very-public meltdown — which in turn led to her going to rehab. In some ways, Dylan is one of the reasons why she’s in the spot that she is, both for better and for worse. Even if she is enjoying her new job that doesn’t mean that she wants to help him.

Sam’s ex-fiancé, Dylan, who dumped her live on national television, unexpectedly shows up asking for help after his laptop is stolen. Sam is reluctant to have anything to do with her old flame until she discovers something even more embarrassing may go public if it gets into the wrong hands. Faced with potential public humiliation, Sam, Eddie and Dylan race to find the laptop before the pair’s most intimate moments become a viral sensation.

This episode definitely feels like it’s got the potential to be very entertaining, especially since you have both a blast from Sam’s past but also high stakes for her and Dylan. It’s a chance to learn a little bit more about both Sam as a character and how she reacts to adversity now. She hasn’t really been tested in this way just yet and we’re interested to see what happens with that.
