The 100 season 5 episode 8 video: The quest to save Eden
In the video that CarterMatt has for you below, you get a pretty good sense as to what’s coming up in this episode — and, beyond that, some of the clear tension that is present between Clarke’s group and Octavia’s group. With Madi over on the other side, Clarke is determined to do whatever she can to ensure that Eden isn’t infiltrated — and, in turn, the people there aren’t killed.
Do we think that Bellamy wants to help Clarke? Absolutely, but her insistence to continue her plan in her own way puts him in a tight spot. This ultimately brings us back to where we were with the time jump at the start of the season. He’s caught in the middle between two different philosophies. Warring factions are a familiar part of what this show is all about, but remember that this episode is entitled “How We Get to Peace.” We want to see that as a sign that most of our main characters can unify. We especially want to think that this could be the case just because of the fact that there are other enemies that need to be taken on and problems that need to be dealt with. We don’t want these to be ignored just for the sake of getting immersed in some drama now.
No matter how this episode wraps up, it’s going to be the last one that we end up seeing for a little bit. After all, there is a hiatus of a week after this episode and we’re going to be stuck waiting for a good while to learn what’s coming up next.
