Jersey Shore Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex Jen Harley arrested
According to a new report coming in via Us Weekly, Ortiz-Magro’s ex-girlfriend, and mother of his baby, Jen Harley, was arrested in Las Vegas over the weekend on charges of domestic battery. The arrest comes after allegations that she beat up Ronnie and then dragged him with a car.
Season 2 of Family Vacation has been filming in Las Vegas, which is where both Ortiz-Magro and Harley live even when the show is not filming. Because of this, and the cast and crew being in Sin City for filming, there’s a reasonable chance that all drama and tension is becoming even more of a volatile powder keg than it would have been otherwise. We saw a lot of this play out during season 1 in between Ronnie’s behavior around other women (let’s not forget French Fry) coupled with the lack of trust that he had in Harley as a partner after claims that she cheated on him.
This entire situation is a mess, and it’s really something that should play out in private since there’s no good way that any of this is going to be helped by being in the public eye. Yet, Jersey Shore is a show that documents life and that’s precisely what we have seen on the series to date. We’ve seen some more of that already with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who has discussed at length many of his legal issues on the show. He is still awaiting sentencing, which should come about at the conclusion of this season.
There is no premiere date just yet for the upcoming batch of new episodes; season 1 is set to end on MTV shortly. On this past episode, The Situation officially became engaged to his longtime girlfriend Lauren after his housemates worked to transform the mansion they were staying at into a romantic setting for the big event.
