Shades of Blue season 3 episode 2 video: How far will Harlee go for revenge?

Shades of Blue

Shades of Blue season 3 episode 2 is coming up on NBC in just over 24 hours’ time, and based on what happened at the end of this past episode, it almost goes without saying that things are going to be intense from here on out.

At the end of this past episode, James Nava was killed — in the aftermath of that Harlee Santos looks to be on a warpath. It felt like she was leaning towards doing things the right way in the season premiere but now, her focus seems to be on getting justice — and revenge no matter what the cost. You can see Harlee resorting to torture in the preview that CarterMatt has for you below, as she is determined that Nava’s killer is someone with a badge. Wozniak may be tasked with trying to keep her from going off the ledge, but at this point we’re not altogether sure that this is going to be possible.

To make matters worse, there is another enormous problem on Harlee’s plate entering this episode: Stahl. Harlee is convinced that the man is back in New York, but is he really — or, is this just a figment of her imagination? The argument for that is certainly understandable given the trauma that she’s been through and hopefully, there are going to be some clear answers to that question at some point over the course of the episode. Given that this is the final season of Shades of Blue, we have really moved past the time in which they can hold on to stories and mysteries. Instead, we’re now at the moment where the writers should work towards giving us answers and then some time to deal with the aftermath of them. We already know at least where part of this story is going, judging from where we saw Harlee during the premiere.
