For anyone out there interested in the Bachelor in Paradise season 5 premiere date over at ABC, we come bearing good news!
Today, the network officially confirmed that the reality franchise will return for a new batch of episodes on Tuesday, August 7 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The premiere episode will be two hours, which is very much similar to what ABC has done in the past with the premiere.
There was a point this past year where we started to wonder as to whether or not we were going to get another season of the show at all, largely because of the incident that unfolded with Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson. Yet, in the aftermath of all of that the show eventually went back and continued the fourth season, and this time around there haven’t been any controversial reports coming out about the show. We’ve certainly heard that this is where Ashley Iaconneti and Jared Haibon’s engagement took place, and there’s likely to be all sorts of other assorted drama that unfolds related to a lot of different couples. We feel like this has been a particularly messy past few months when it comes to the show, largely due to the fact that you had Bachelor Winter Games and all of that drama plus the controversial end to Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season plus also everything that has happened so far with Becca Kufrin.
At the conclusion of Bachelor in Paradise at 10:00 p.m. Eastern on August 7 is a series entitled Castaways, one that is described the network as follows:
Castaways is a revolutionary series testing the human need for companionship under extreme circumstances as each individual learns there are other castaways out there but are unaware of how many, their locations or when they will be rescued. This visually stunning, new reality series follows 12 diverse individuals as they’re dropped alone throughout various islets in Indonesia and challenged to survive among washed-up luggage, scattered resources and abandoned structures.
