The Bold Type season 2 episode 4 preview: What’s ahead; ratings update

The Bold Type season 2 episode 4

Want to know what’s ahead on The Bold Type season 2 episode 4? Most of it is going to start with characters looking to advance their lives. For Jane, she’s going to get a chance to dive into some very different writing than anything that she’s done before. Meanwhile, for Kat she’s going to have a chance to experience a different part of New York City. There are many different events that are set to unfold, and hopefully, all of this leads to some of our main characters actually moving forward.

Below, The Bold Type season 2 episode 4 synopsis offers up more information as to what’s coming:

Jane crosses paths with Pinstripe, who inspires her to try a new style of writing. Meanwhile, she learns something new about Ben. Adena reluctantly brings Kat out to meet her friends, and Kat quickly immerses herself in the New York lesbian scene. Sutton fights for an in with a well-connected influencer named Brooke.

How are the ratings?

This is something that we’re going to offer up over time for those out there who are very much interested in seeing the show around for the long-term. (The Bold Type does already have a season 3 renewal.) To date, we’ll say that the live+same-day numbers really are not all that bad.

The premiere, which aired on Freeform last week, ended up generating in total a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic coupled with just over 300,000 viewers. While those numbers are done from the live viewing averages last season, it’s a pretty tiny decrease and with that, something that you really shouldn’t be altogether concerned over. If the ratings stay fairly solid the rest of the season, we do think that there’s a chance that the show could have a life beyond the third season. For the time being, though, it’s really far too early to make any sort of enormous proclamations.
