Supergirl season 3 finale: Who left?

Supergirl season 3 finale

Is Chris Wood leaving Supergirl after the events of the season 3 finale, and joining the departing Jeremy Jordan in the process?

Going into the episode, we knew about the departure of Winn Schott that would be coming. However, what we also learned is that Mon-El could be joining him. Because of what happened with stopping Pestilence, there were some other problems that surfaced in the future, and according to Brainiac-5, the future needed both Mon-El and Winn to go forward and try to fight it. It’s probably not the easiest thing to hear after everything that they’ve just gone through, but still.

Losing Chris Wood and Jeremy Jordan in the same episode is a tough pill to swallow, but it is a way to shake up the show dramatic. That may be something on some level that the producers want to do … or there could be a larger reason behind it that will come out after the episode.

Unfortunately, as the episode went along it because clear that Mon-El may not make it back to the future, mostly because it looked temporarily like he died in the final battle against Reign … and would have were it not for him going back into the past. Mon-El eventually was safe, and in the aftermath of it, decided to go back. Winn, in the end, opted to also joined him.

We know that Jordan will recur at some point during season 4 so with that, we’re not done for him for good. We’re still going to miss Winn in the present — Jeremy was an original cast member, and one of our favorites in the Arrowverse in general. We know that Mon-El was a polarizing character to many, but he had his fans and his future remains unclear. Update: For now, producers confirm to TVLine that Wood is, in fact, leaving the show.
