Lucifer season 4: Four actors who need to return

Lucifer

Now that we know that Lucifer season 4 is officially coming your way, CarterMatt is ready to dive into some other fun discussion pieces! Be sure to check back often for more regarding the series and its future since we are excited to be talking all things Lucifer.

With the news out there about the season 4 writers room opening up soon, now feels like the perfect time to pose the following question: Who do we want to see on the show again? In theory the answer would be everyone, but there are four actors in particular who were brilliant the first go-around and certainly will be again … even if you have to assign them new roles because their previous characters are dead.

Lindsey Gort – Why can’t we have more Candy Morningstar? We obviously don’t want anyone to come between Lucifer and Chloe but Lucifer’s whole marriage storyline was ridiculously entertaining. It feels like there are always ways in which to bring Candy into the fold for a guest spot so why not consider it?

Timothy Omundson – “God Johnson” is, by far, one of our favorite episodes of the entire series — Omundson’s character was outstanding in how he made Lucifer question pretty much everything about his world. Admittedly, Timothy is probably one of our favorite actors (if you haven’t seen him on Galavant you should check that out!) and his journey and recovery over the past year from a stroke has been nothing short of astounding and inspiring.

Tricia Helfer – While we understand that she was already a regular, it feels like more can be done with Charlotte Richards / Mom than what we saw — even if it comes about via a brief couple of scenes. We think that we’re still somewhat in denial mode over Charlotte’s death and we’re not ready to accept her exit just yet.

John Tague – The actor appeared in “Once Upon a Time” and after being a part of the revival movement, there have been many out there tweeting out #BringBackJohnTague over the past couple of days. Why not give the people what they want? He could be a cop again or a different character altogether.

If we’re to throw another bonus in here, it would be great to see Kevin Carroll back once more — we wish we had more time to actually see him as the Sinnerman, and even with him gone that character was so distinct you could easily remake him into something different.
