NCIS: Los Angeles season 10: When should first promo be released?
Beyond that, it’s probably an even more appropriate question to ponder over just because of one simple thing: That enormous cliffhanger that was present at the end of season 5. That is definitely the sort of thing to lose your mind over and the longer CBS makes us go without any additional information, the more painful it’s going to be.
If we’re being fairly realistic here, odds are that we may learn something about the future of some of the NCIS: Los Angeles cast long before the first promo even comes out — which could be in late August / early to mid-September. Often announcements about cast members leaving come out in the summer, often not too far from when shows start filming. Every now and then there are examples of that not happening and networks keeping a secret. A good example of that is Blue Bloods, which managed to mask the departure of Amy Carlson for an extremely long time after she departed.
What we know we would like to see in the first preview for season 10 is something that offers up a good sense as to what’s coming in terms of real footage, even if it doesn’t reveal any big spoilers at all. Sometimes CBS does tend to craft rather-generic promos that don’t reveal very much in terms of the story and these are specific things that we hope they would avoid here. The best thing that we can hope for is that the network respects the fans who have been waiting and/or clamoring for so much more when it comes to the show for a rather long time now — after all, these are people make up the loyal contingent of viewers who frequently watch the show live and discuss it with regularity.
