Claws season 2 episode 3 preview: Sheryl Lee Ralph guest stars

Claws

What’s coming up on Claws season 2 episode 3? As you would imagine, the TNT series has a lot of story to tell — moving into next week in particular, we’re going to have a notable guest star. Sheryl Lee Ralph of Moesha and many other shows is going to be appearing this week as Matilde, Rival’s mother. We know that Desna is developing more feelings for the guy … but then there are also plenty of questions regarding whether or not she really knows this man. There’s a reasonably good chance that there is so much more drama coming for these characters than we even realize.

Below, the Claws season 2 episode 3 synopsis offers a little bit more information regarding just what is coming up next:

Desna’s (Niecy Nash) relationship with Ruval (Jimmy Jean-Louis) deepens when he introduces her to his mother, Matilde (Sheryl Lee Ralph).  Polly (Carrie Preston) grows concerned when Marnie continues to pull away from her. Meanwhile, Jenn (Jenn Lyon), still depressed by Bryce’s (Kevin Rankin) recent indiscretion, falls off the wagon. After Uncle Daddy (Dean Norris) disrespects Zlata (Franka Potente), he finds himself on the receiving end of Zlata’s twisted wrath.

As you can see based on everything mentioned here, there is a lot coming up to look forward to. There’s a ton of drama, Uncle Daddy’s going to find himself in severe danger, and beyond all of this, we’re going to be seeing Jenn suffering after the shocking betrayal that she had tonight. This is an episode that should test some of the relationships, but also push more of the characters forward in some capacity.

Ultimately, though, we don’t think there’s going to be any sort of resolution here — the drama is probably only going to increase exponentially as time goes on.
