Outlander star Tobias Menzies holding charity contest for WaterAid
As you can see in the video below, Menzies is raising money for the cause by taking part in a raffle, one where the winner will receive a signed quilt that was put together by many diehard Outlander fans. Beyond just that, there are some other gifts that the winner will receive including “two tickets to the Outlander Convention in Secaucus, NJ, August 17-19, 2018, a photo opportunity with Graham McTavish, Cesar Domboy and Stephen Walters, a tour of the WaterAid offices in NYC, and a WaterAid SWAG Bag!.” Basically, that’s a lot of fantastic stuff to be excited about if you choose to enter. Per Menzies himself, a donation of $25 gets your foot in the door.
This is a very lovely thing for Tobias to be a part of, especially given the fact that he’s certainly a busy guy these days. He recently wrapped up promotion for The Terror and now has another ambitious project coming in The Crown over on Netflix. While his two characters on Outlander may be dead, you never know just quite how the producers could use him from here on out…
Outlander season 4 will premiere on Starz come November, and hopefully we’ll have some more news on The Crown coming up in the near future. To go along with that, fingers crossed that there is a nomination or two for Tobias coming up next month.
