Supergirl season 3 finale video: Melissa Benoist teases big answers

Supergirl season 3 finale

For everyone hoping for closure on many different subjects, the Supergirl season 3 finale may be providing them come Monday night. This is at least according to a new video below featuring series star Melissa Benoist.

This video is fairly lighthearted, and in it you can see the actress promise “all the answers” to many of your burning questions. She also compares the episode to fire and brimstone, which makes a certain degree of sense given the intensity that we’ve seen on the show so far. We’ve got, after all, a character in Reign who is designed to help bring forward a Kryptonian version of the Apocalypse. While Selena may be the person really pulling many of the strings there, Reign is the formidable foe who is probably going to be at the center of the final battle. No matter what happens here around her showdown with Supergirl, there could be cataclysmic results and this episode could change almost the entire series as we know it.

A big part of what is exciting about this finale is that, for the most part, there is such a tremendous air of mystery all around it. There isn’t all that much that is known about the end of it or what is coming in season 4, save for the fact that the show is looking to cast a transgender character who could be a key player in some of what is coming up. It’s certainly possible that we see a major character either die or depart before we even make it to the premiere this fall in the show’s new Sunday timeslot.
