Supergirl season 3 finale promo: Will Supergirl kill Reign?

The Supergirl season 3 finale is airing on The CW in one week’s time and judging from the promo below, Kara is left with some key questions. At the center of all of them is simply this: What is she willing to do in order to stop Reign? Will she go so far as to kill her?

To date, we’ve come to know one thing about Kara Danvers: She has a code that keeps her from wanting to kill someone. That’s just not something that she wants to do and it seems as though she’s very much interested in avoiding going down that road. That is why she reiterates in the promo below that even with Reign, she has no intention in trying to kill her. She just wants to stop her via whatever other mean that she can. We figure that she has one of two options here: Either she can find some other way to stop her before Reign completely terraforms the earth or she can simply allow someone else to kill her. Is that a little bit of a cop-out? Maybe, but we know that these are desperate times we’re looking at here.

What we at least feel good about is this: We can finally stop being concerned about whether or not there will be a big Supergirl vs. Reign battle at the end of the season. While Selena has proven herself to be the real puppetmaster here more so than anyone else, we wanted this face-off. We’ve spent most of this season to date building up to this sort of face-off. We just hope that it proves to be worthwhile and gives us an ending that many people will be talking about when the dust settles.
