When will NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 begin filming? Early speculation
The reality here, if you are a fan of the show, is that you are still going to have to wait for a little while. For this series filming typically begins either at the end of July or in early August, and we have a feeling that the same thing will be true here. Exact filming start dates are not always revealed, but this is around when the show needs to begin in order to get all of their episodes done in time for the finale May. It’s hard to imagine that this season, regardless of the episode count, is going to be any different.
the one thing that we do imagine will be very different is the way in which the show handles security around filming for at least the first few weeks. Because of the way in which season 9 ended, there is a pretty enormous cliffhanger that the show needs to resolve in one form or another. They have to figure out if all of their main characters survive the explosion — hopefully they will, but if they want there to be some suspense, they need to keep as many secrets as long as possible. (We do think, though, that there will be some official announcement about the cast in August — with a few exceptions here and there like Blue Bloods, most cliffhangers have a tendency to be answered prior to the premiere airing.)
Beyond when the filming starts, let’s hope for an exciting, action-packed season with plenty of surprises, plenty of twists, and hopefully a few moments that take us by surprise.
