Supergirl season 3 episode 22 video: Will only Sam or Reign survive?
With Selena and her new evil band of Kryptonians on Earth, it feels even more like a desperate situation than ever before. These are people who are trying to inflict carnage on anyone and everyone in sight, and seem to be now trying to fulfill some of the original ideas set forth when Reign first arrived. All of this is dangerous, but is it as interesting as having Reign itself around? Hardly, given that she is the villain we have become the most invested with over time. On some level, we like to think that the Supergirl team behind-the-scenes understands this.
We very much recognize the fact that we have certainly been hard on the show as of late for its depiction of many different things, including the storyline with Alura’s return that really hasn’t gone anywhere as fast as we would have preferred. Yet, we do still have some faith in the end of this season that everything can start to turn around and that we’re going to have some epic battles still. Supergirl probably does have too much going on right now, but it knows that there are expectations for an epic finale and more than likely, we are going to see one presented here. We know that big changes are also coming at the end of the finale, and you have to wonder if these are going to be the sort that start to invigorate the show moving forward.
