The Flash actress would welcome Black Lightning crossover

Flash season 4

Is it even healthy for us to keep thinking about the idea of a The FlashBlack Lightning crossover? We wonder at this point, mostly because of the Black Lightning creative team retaining a sense of eagerness that their show is its own thing and they are not altogether eager to stage some sort of big crossover event with the rest of the Arrowverse. Yet, those questions are probably going to remain regardless of however long the shows stay on the air. It just makes sense to continue pondering over these questions just because there is so many fun ways the shows can cross path.

For now, though, we should say that the big plan for the Arrowverse crossover this year is Batwoman; Black Lightning has not been mentioned with anything to date.

So who from The Flash is interested in taking part in that show? Think in terms of Danielle Nicolet, who plays Cecile on the series. Speaking (per ComicBook.com) while at MCM Comic Con recently, she had the following to say in terms of her hopes to join the show:

“In terms of Black Lightning, just to say, I love it and I have a very public and undeniable crush on Jill Scott, so if any of the writers are listening right now, guys I’m just saying it would be fun.”

Jessica Parker Kennedy, who is playing Barry and Iris’ daughter Nora West-Allen on the series, also made it clear that she’s game for any crossover given how she got to be a part of Crisis on Earth-X more or less from the get-go:

“I think crossovers are the coolest … The very first episode I did was a crossover and it was awesome, and everyone was there, and everyone was in a good mood. I feel like it’s so fun to do that.”
