Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 8 video: John’s fate up in the air
For starters, the big one that is present in the preview below is whether or not John Dorie makes it through the first half of this season alive. Personally, we find this one immensely fascinating. Who would’ve guessed that we would be as invested in a relative-newbie character at this point in the show’s run? It’s absolutely surprising and yet, we’re not even remotely upset about it at the moment. It’s nice that we actually do care about a character on the level we do after such a short run. We mostly just hope that he survives because so many other people on this season haven’t. This has been, by far, one of the deadliest iterations of the entire Walking Dead franchise to do. Nobody is safe and this is one of the few series that is actually proving that to be true.
This brings us to trying to understand one of the other key mysteries at the heart of the series right now: Whether or not we end up seeing Madison survive at the end of all of this. Where in the world is she? That’s a question the AMC show has raised many times over at this point and yet, there is not all that much at the moment in the way of a secure answer. Our hope is just that as this season progresses, we’ll understand (provided that she is alive) why we haven’t seen much of her in the present. For the record, we’re going to go out on a limb and assume that she is still out there, mostly because this is the storyline that is the most exciting. If she is dead, there’s not as much that you can still do with her.
