Elementary season 6 episode 7 video: A serial killer origin story

Elementary

Elementary season 6 episode 7 is coming on CBS Monday night, and judging from the sneak peek below the case that Holmes and Watson are taking on is very much significant.

After all, these two are being tasked with trying to figure out who is behind a series of murders — or at least it turns out that way. After finding a dead body, the two are able to determine that this is not the first victim that is out there. This sneak peek reveals that they may have started a good five years ago with a case that was eventually penned on the husband of the deceased. As it turns out, though, this man in Graham may have been wrongfully convicted, just because nobody was altogether willing to hear his story. That is changing now.

So who is the person responsible for these tragedies? Based on the way in which these promos are setting things up there is a legitimate reason to think that Michael is behind them — we’ve certainly seen enough on the series so far for us to have a pretty good idea as to who this person is. Yet, there are still many different questions revolving around his motives when it comes to gravitating close to Sherlock and/or how some of these mysteries are going to play out over time.

Ultimately, we’d be surprised if everything within “Sober Companions” (a likely reference to Michael in its own right) is going to be wrapped up over the course of this episode. There is likely more of this story to be told as the season goes along — or so we hope, given that the idea of having an adversary for Sherlock around long-term is always something that we’re going to get behind. That is even more true when said adversary is played by none other than Desmond Harrington.
