How to Get Away with Murder season 5 is going to be airing on ABC this fall, and with that, it appears that the show is continuing a mystery from last season in a rather huge way.
According to a new report coming in via Deadline, Rome Flynn, who plays the character of Gabriel Maddox, is going to be a series regular for the episodes that are coming up. Why does that matter? Well, much of it has to do with the fact that we still don’t really know all that much in regards to who Gabriel Maddox even is. This is a character currently shrouded in a great deal of mystery both in terms of his past and also whatever connection that he has to some other characters on the show — but you better believe that more is going to be revealed here eventually. There are no guarantees, of course, that we’ll be getting answers and insight on this character right away. We certainly know that the show does like to let some mysteries linger and there.
One of the things that does excite us at the moment when it comes to How to Get Away with Murder season 5 is that there is such a different mystery at the heart of the series. It’s something that stands out as opposed to yet another story as to whether or not a main character is dead. (Of course, we could still have that in due time — with this sort of show, this is just the sort of thing that you really have to be prepared for. It throws twists and turns at you from almost every direction.
When the series does premiere, it will once again do so in its timeslot Thursday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
