Orange is the New Black season 6 premiere date, teaser revealed

In the video below, you can get a small look at the prison cafeteria, one that is completely disheveled following the prison riot that dominated much of the story last year. We are promised here a whole new world and based on what we’ve come to know about this show, change is inevitable. Even if we didn’t have the riots at the core of this past season of the show, we would still ultimately feel that way. This is a show that does need to change up its roster often just because such is the way for prisons. They are constantly undergoing great change due to new inmates and others that finally get a chance to leave.

With all of this said, some of the prison transfers and so much more here could make the start of season 6 more jarring than ever before. We already know that things are different for Piper and Alex, but how different will they be for everyone else?

We do think that this is a pivotal season for Orange is the New Black when it comes to its content, mostly because season 5 was polarizing for many people when it comes to the method of storytelling and also the progression of it. Shows in the middle of their run often do have a hard time getting the critical acclaim they once did, but there is a road map this series could follow in order to achieve some success. All it needs to do is just figure out a way to model itself after what happened with Homeland.
