The Fosters season 5 episode 22 preview: The series finale

Fosters season 5 episode 22

The Fosters season 5 episode 22 is airing on Freeform next week and it’s pretty darn clear that this one is important. After all, it marks the series finale. This is the chance to say goodbye … or at least until Good Trouble airs with some of the cast on board.

There are certainly many questions going into this finale, with one of the biggest ones being rather simple: Is Callie really at Brandon’s door? We don’t think so. Instead, we foresee it being either Eliza, her father, or some other character. Meanwhile, Callie may have paid Jamie a visit and this is all an elaborate bait-and-switch designed to get us excited. Given how many characters are moving around at the moment with the show, isn’t it feasible that things are a little bit more complicated than they appear to be on the surface?

Below, The Fosters season 5 episode 22 synopsis below gives you a little more information as to what’s coming up next:

After a turbulent few days in Turks & Caicos, the family starts to question if the wedding will actually take place. The moms make a huge decision that will change the family forever.

It is true that we’re not looking her necessarily at the most spoiler-filled synopsis in the world, not that this should be all that much of a surprise. After all, this is the final episode! Yet, when it comes to the story of Lena and Stef it feels pretty firmly themed around one particular subject: Whether or not Lena will run for State Assembly. It’s something that is strongly suggested for her to do; however, she’s got so many other responsibilities that this is not something she is locked-in to do at the moment. If she does opt to take the position, there are some serious things that she is going to need to consider, including whether or not she is comfortable with moving out of the family home.
