Ink Master: Angels season 3: Should it happen on Paramount Network?
At the moment, nothing seems secure when it comes to the future of the show one way or another. The network has not confirmed anything as of yet, but we do hope that there is a way to see the show again.
What we think that Angels does a great job at is finding a way to introduce some interesting tattoo styles and locale artists from all over the country — Ink Master itself only has some many different artists a season and with that, there’s only room for so many stories to be told. This is a show that works really well for filling that void.
Beyond just this, Ink Master: Angels also works from a storytelling standpoint. It’s not often that you walk into an Ink Master season really knowing a thing or two about some of the contestants, but that was helpful with people like Deanna Smith and Daniel Silva. That made us want to root for them from the start.
Are there changes that could be made to the show in the future? Sure, whether it be changing the somewhat-predictable nature of the Angel Face-off at the end or finding a way to make guest judges have a little bit more of an impact. As it is, though, we do think that Angels remains a very good, entertaining bit of off-season programming for the Ink Master franchise. It’s with this in mind that we do hope there is a chance for it to stick around.
