The 100 season 5 episode 6 video: McCreary’s stand-off
When it comes to what McCreary wants, a big part of it involves him and his own ego. He wants to feel in charge, and he certainly doesn’t want to take any of Kane’s lip. This something that you see a little bit of in the sneak peek below (via TVLine), as Charmaine has to talk him down from killing him before Abby comes up with a cure. She’s confident that she will, but such things do take a little bit of time. For those of you who do love tough decisions and moral conflicts, we’ve got a pretty good feeling that you’re going to appreciate some of what this scene brings to the table.
Who are the big winners here? It’s clearly everyone not named McCreary or Charmaine, since the opening of a potential rift could be the very thing that allows everyone else to sneak in and make their own move. One of the biggest things that always leads to shake-ups for people in power is restlessness, largely because there are so many in this world who just don’t have the patience to allow things to develop over time. They want things to happen when they want and with that, you get almost instant conflict since everyone’s going to have a difference of opinion.
This episode of The 100 is the first since The Flash came to a close and while we know that there is already a season 6 renewal in the books for the series, we absolutely do hope that there are people who watch live. We want to see the momentum here going strong for as long as humanly possible.
