Pose episode 2 preview: What’s next on FX drama?

Following tonight’s new episode, does anyone want to know more about what’s coming up next on Pose episode 2 next week? The simple answer to this is that there are going to be some greater opportunities to learn about many of the big characters on the show. We’ll start to understand further as to how Blanca, Damon, and others understand the world that they are a part of — one that is ever-changing in this particular time period. Pose is a show about exploration, just as it’s also about finding a way to feel accepted and to embrace the music that’s around you. The fact that there is so much music, in fact, is one of the reasons why it is so unique.

Below, the Pose episode 2 synopsis offers up a little bit more in the way of information as to what is coming up next:

Blanca is denied access to a popular bar leading to a purposeful feud. Meanwhile, inexperienced Damon learns the truth about love and sex when he is asked on a date. Written by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Steven Canals; directed by Ryan Murphy.

This marks the second straight episode of the series that Murphy has jumped into the director’s chair for, and we do think that this is a rather big deal when you remember just how busy the guy is! For him to jump into this chair is a rather big deal for any show that he takes on and ultimately, this allows Pose to establish its own signature tone. For FX, it’s also probably very important that this series has some consistency and strength from the start given how, thanks to Murphy’s new deal with Netflix, they aren’t going to be getting any more original properties beyond the ones that they currently have in the immediate future.
