Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 7 video: Alicia vs. Naomi
This clip (via Comic Book Resources) features Alicia doing battle with Naomi, still reeling with anger over what happened to Nick and seemingly what happened with Madison. There are still many questions regarding that but, unfortunately, this preview does not do a whole lot to answer said questions. Instead, we have Morgan, Naomi, John, and others in the midst of what is here a multifaceted battle for both power and understanding.
This sneak peek is actually a pretty great microcosm for what makes this season of Fear the Walking Dead so great — there are no clear black-and-white delineations as to who is good and who is evil. Instead, characters are making decisions based on what may be incomplete information. They are acting based on what is the emotion in their heart in the moment. These people are flawed and they may make some moves out of rage. There is still mystery, both for us and for some of the people on the show.
Now that we have spelled all of that out, we are almost near the end of the first half of season 4. With that in mind, it does feel as though there is a need to push the story forward and actually get some more answers. We’d like to get a better sense of Madison’s whereabouts by the end of the midseason finale; after all, it does feel as though there will still be plenty other storylines to hold our interest after that point.
