Nashville season 6 video: Cast reflects before final episodes begin
This is a video that is very much designed to make you reflective — Charles Esten, Maisy Stella, Hayden Panettiere, and others all talk about the journeys for their characters. Many of them — take Daphne, for example — started off on the series with a completely different purpose. Yet, as the show went along he started to discover more of her actual place in the world. For other characters, they may have known who they were but still encountered some tremendous obstacles.
Even as we near the end of the road for Nashville, there are still many different issues that need to be addressed. For example, Maddie needs to figure out if her new superstar lifestyle is really the right thing for her. Meanwhile, Juliette has to come to terms with being a part of this crazy cult that she is with, and Deacon has to unravel what is a delicate, difficult situation with Jessie. We’re seeing these characters set out on a road that will determine, at least in part, what their immediate future will be. The story at the end of Nashville’s run is likely going to be quite different than anything we’ve seen before, but such is life. It comes at you fast and there are both opportunities and setbacks that come your way in a manner in which you never would have predicted going into them.
