New Timeless sneak peek for the Lucy – Flynn fans
This sneak peek, which comes courtesy of episode 2017, features Abigail Spencer and Goran Visnjic’s characters having a fun conversation after they spent the night before drinking and having fun together — they didn’t sleep together or do anything romantic, though the show did play around with viewers about that possibility back when the episode originally aired. After all, this was one of the reasons why this sneak peek wasn’t aired — it gave away the mystery that they were enjoying playing around with for a little bit longer, and they wanted to continue messing with that for as long as they possibly could.
We do think that season 2 made a pretty strong case as to why we should get more of Lucy and Flynn spending time together in the future, with a lot of it stemming from the simple notion that the two had some really great interactions! It’s funny that characters who started off as adversaries could end up being rather fun together in the end, but a big part of this probably has to deal with what they’ve been through together. It’s something that Lucy and Flynn even talk about within this preview.
In the end, it does remain fairly remarkable that we are still waiting to learn one way or another if Timeless is going to return, and unfortunately, we do think that we could presumably be waiting in the wings for a little while longer. NBC has not made much of a timetable in terms of when they are going to announce anything.
