iZombie season 5 premiere date hopes for Rose McIver, cast
Let’s kick off here by saying that there is, for sure, going to be an iZombie season 5 coming on The CW in the future. This is something that was first confirmed by the network earlier this month, with the unfortunate caveat being that this will be the final season of the show. This is almost certainly a bummer, but it’s also had to be aggressively bitter given the fact that this is a series that has had a nice run and allowed some of its characters to go on a really great journey. That’s not something that every show out there gives us an opportunity to see.
Now, let’s get back to the pressing question at the heart of the article — if we were to guess, our feeling would be that iZombie season 5 would premiere at some point when we get around to the spring of next year — think along the lines of when it came on the air in 2018. The show is not on the fall schedule and with this being the final season, it’s probably not going to get the most favorable timeslot in the world. The network already knows that it’s ending and because of that, they will probably hand out some of their better timeslots to series that have a chance of coming back for more.
For those of you who are worried about the fate of Rose McIver’s Liv entering the finale — which does make sense, based on where she is at the moment — rest assured, it’s hard to imagine having a show called iZombie without the main character at the center of it. We’re confident that one way or another, she’ll still be around.
