Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 1 video: Is someone dead?
Basically there are four words that may make you wonder this: “Sorry for your loss.” Whatever the news is Smurf seems to handle it fairly well, but the one loss that seems potentially obvious, based at least on the cliffhanger, is Baz. Also, there were all of those rumors in the off-season that Speedman may be exiting the show.
Now that we’ve spelled all of this out, though, we would argue that there are some other things to keep in mind here, starting with the fact that Baz’s name is never actually said. To go along with that, would TNT actually be so bold as to release some sort of sneak peek with this sort of spoiler wedged right in the middle of it? That doesn’t seem like something they would do … unless, of course, they are doing it because it’s something they think that you wouldn’t expect. Try to wrap your brain around that for a moment or so.
Regardless of if this is all an elaborate mind-game or not, we do think that this sneak peek sets the stage for a dramatic season with a lot of big twists at the heart of it — also, we know that there’s a new character coming on board played by Denis Leary. This is a season that is going to have a lot of the same energy to it as the two before it, but still somehow find a way to be different in the process.
