Instinct episode 8 preview: The return from the break; two episodes coming Sunday!

There are a couple of different things to be excited about when it comes to Instinct episode 8 airing on Sunday, starting of course with the fact that there are two separate episodes coming up! It’s a two-hour event that starts at 8:00 p.m. Eastern with “Long Shot,” so hopefully this helps to make up for the hiatus that the series has been on as of late. This is a chance to really dive into some new episodes and get to know the characters that much better.

If you haven’t heard, “Long Shot” is the story of a race against time in order to solve a case at the behest of the Mayor. It’s going to put a lot of pressure on Dylan and Lizzie, mostly because this is what happens when people high up start to realize that you are good at your job. They’re going to use that as an excuse to really amp up the pressure on you and force you to go into overdrive to solve some cases even faster than ever before. This is not going to be an easy challenge, but isn’t that a part of what makes the show fun?

“Long Shot” – When a woman is shot outside a community center, Dylan and Lizzie are challenged by the mayor to solve the case in less than 24 hours to quell pressure from the media and special interest groups, on INSTINCT, Sunday, May 27 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As for the second episode…

This one is entitled “Bad Actors,” and while there may be a serious case at the heart of it, there is also going to be a lot of fun. Check out the attached synopsis for some additional insight there:

“Bad Actors” – Dylan and Lizzie work to uncover who would want to murder an acting troupe of costumed characters when two members are killed using highly sophisticated poisons. Also, Andy encourages Dylan to accept an invitation to a BBQ being thrown by Det. Fucci (Danny Mastrogiorgio) when he becomes concerned that Dylan isn’t fitting in with his new colleagues, on INSTINCT, Sunday, May 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Dylan’s probably at this point realizing that the whole nature of this job is being put in uncomfortable positions outside your routine. He does probably remember this from his days with the CIA, though that may also feel like forever ago.
